Experience it with "Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut" scheduled for release this fall

One of my favorite games of last year, Slay the Princess, will be getting a Director’s Cut in the form of Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut. In partnership with Serenity Forge, the game will also be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox. In addition to that, there will also be a Collector’s Edition, which will include a 7-inch statue of the Princess, an acrylic standee, and more.

For those just now learning about “The Pristine Cut,” it’s a completely free director’s cut of the game, adding around 35% more content to the initial release.

This includes massive expansions to The Den, The Apotheosis, and The Fury routes, each more than three times larger than the release version, allowing for plenty of variations to discover over multiple playthroughs.

In addition to this, three new Chapter 3 routes – The Damsel, The Prisoner, and The Spectre – have been added, adding even more depth to the story.

And a new ending will be added.

Overall, these additions include over 2,500 new voice lines, over 1,200 new hand-drawn illustrations, and over 15 new music tracks.

We’ve also added a massive CG gallery with over 400 unlocks to help completionists track their progress, as well as cryptic hints to help uncover some of the game’s more obscure and buried interactions.

With the help of Serenity Forge, we are bringing Slay the Princess — The Pristine Cut to all current major consoles, including Nintendo Switch, PS4+5, and Xbox.

As well as a digital download, there will also be a physical edition available for Switch and PS5, which comes with an exclusive sticker sheet and a download code for the game’s soundtrack.

And if that’s not enough, there’s also a Collector’s Edition available, which includes a 7-inch statue of the Princess, a lenticular mirror, an acrylic standee and more.
