Erica Gutierrez Martinez – Excellence in Public Health Service Award – Local Health Department Staff

Gutierrez Martinez, assistant director of operations, received the Outstanding Public Health Service Award for local health department staff.

Presented annually, this award recognizes outstanding employees within Texas local public health departments who have demonstrated exceptional performance and exemplary commitment to local public health for more than 10 years.

The selection process for these prestigious awards was handled by the TACCHO Executive Leadership Team Awards Committee, which is comprised of the Executive Director and appointed ELT members.

This award was awarded based on the quality of the application and the outstanding achievements described within it.
