CII Ludhiana Zone has always been at the forefront of providing support to all public initiatives and community services. Continuing its CSR activities, Confederation of Indian Industry Ludhiana Zone in collaboration with CT University organized a free full body health check-up camp at CT University’s campus on Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, May 27, 2023: CII Ludhiana Zone has always been at the forefront of providing support to all public initiatives and community services. Continuing its CSR activities, Confederation of Indian Industry, Ludhiana Zone, in collaboration with CT University, organized a free full body health checkup camp at the campus of CT University, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
The camp was inaugurated by CII Ludhiana Zone Convenor Randeep Bhogal and University of Connecticut Chancellor S. Charanjit Singh Channi. The camp included free medical consultations, dental check-ups, eye care camps and consultations, and physical therapy camps. Evaluations include ECG monitoring, blood sugar measurements, blood pressure measurements, body mass index (BMI), X-rays, vision tests, and all complimentary consultations. An expert team of doctors from Sankara Eye Care, Mohandai Oswal Hospital and Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences & Research participated in the camp.
The main objectives of the camp were to provide affordable health care to the community and provide health information to identify common health problems in the community and create ways to address them. More than 400 of his people from nearby areas benefited from this camp.
Mr. Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII Ludhiana Zone and Managing Director, Jt. Avon Cycles Limited said that he would take further such initiatives along with other CII members under CSR and also said that Charanjit – President Singh Channi, Vice Chancellor Dr. Satish Kumar, Dr. Ati Purie (University of Connecticut Trustee) and their team for hosting this camp on their grounds.
CII guided the initiative and was represented by Randeep Bhogal, Convener, CII Ludhiana Zone and Partner, Bhogal Sales Corporation. LB Maurya, Maurya Exports, Dr. Deepak Jain, AVP-Headquarters, Avon Cycles Limited, Chandan Kalia of TK Steels.
