3.30am Yoga and Vegan Meal – Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud today recommended a holistic lifestyle to cope with the work-related stress faced by himself and his colleagues.
Inaugurating the AYUSH Holistic Wellness Center at the Supreme Court today, the Chief Justice said the significance of such practices is not only good for judges and their families, but also for the overall well-being of the Supreme Court staff. Ta.
“I practice yoga. I woke up at 3:30 this morning to do yoga. Additionally, I have been following a vegan diet for the past five months. We are trying to focus on the lifestyle patterns of people who eat, of course, and what they put into their system,” said CJI Chandrachud, as quoted by news agency ANI.
The Chief Justice highlighted the stress faced by Supreme Court staff, including 34 judges, who handle huge volumes of files. Reflecting on his personal experience, CJI Chandrachud said, “I took Panchakarma about a year ago.I am looking forward to taking it again as it is the change of season.However, we at Supreme He has a staff of over 2,000 people. In the courtroom, all 34 judges, including our colleagues, are under tremendous stress in their day-to-day work and have a heavy filing burden. ”
“We believe it is important to consider the holistic lifestyle of not only judges and their immediate families, but also their staff. It is through them that we can spread this message across the country.” he added.
Dedicated to the well-being of the legal profession, AYUSH Holistic Wellness Center aims to promote Ayurveda and holistic practices especially for judges, their families and Supreme Court staff.
