Adjustable Dumbbell 55 Pound 5-In-1 Single — $150, was $200
The biggest problem with dumbbell training is having too many dumbbells. They can take up the whole gym. single This adjustable dumbbell can take the place of five dumbbells in your entire gym kit (it only comes with one, so buy two). Instead of one 55 lb dumbbell, you get an 11 lb dumbbell, a 22 lb dumbbell, and so on up to the 55 lb dumbbell. This is great if you’re just starting out and aren’t sure what weight to start with, or if you want to do different exercises with different weights. Finally, the design of the adjustable dumbbell is very secure, and the weight can only be adjusted while it’s carefully placed on the tray (using a simple handle-turning mechanism). Once removed, the weight is “locked in,” so to speak, until you place it back on the tray. This ensures you won’t lose your toenails.
Echelon Stride 30 — $600, was $700
Not all treadmills need to be super expensive. The Echelon Stride is a great budget choice that still has a lot of features. The running belt is a long and narrow 16 x 47 inches, which is good for small spaces. The top speed is 10 miles per hour, which is enough for those just starting out. The 15 pre-programmed modes are enough, but you can also set up three custom workouts if you want.
ProForm Carbon EL — $700, was $800
The ProForm Carbon EL is an elliptical with a 15-pound flywheel that provides a natural walking experience. It has 18 built-in resistance levels to allow you to train however you like. The levels can be controlled by you or your trainer in an iFIT class. When you purchase this elliptical, you get 30 days of free access. The ProForm Carbon EL also comes with a water bottle holder for hydration and two 2-inch speakers for entertainment.
NordicTrack Commercial VU29 Exercise Bike — $911, was $1,299
The NordicTrack Commercial VU29 is a quiet training bike for low-impact cardio. This machine is also very quiet, especially designed for quiet training. In addition to a free 30-day subscription to iFIT, which allows the trainer to automatically adjust 24 digital resistance levels, you can also ride your bike in a simulation area selected using Google Maps. The result is a realistic training simulation without having to leave the room. This quietness is ideal for baby-caregivers or those who are always on-call while working from home. The NordicTrack Commercial VU29 can carry cyclists up to 325 pounds.
Matrix ICR50 Indoor Cycle — $999, was $1,199
If you’re looking for a more traditional cycling experience, check out the Matrix ICR50, which features magnetic resistance wheels that give it the feel of a regular bike. With 11 resistance levels to choose from, it’s great for people just starting to take their training to the next level. That said, it doesn’t come with a screen or heart rate sensor, so you’ll miss out if you want either of those things.
Schwinn 470 Elliptical Machine — $1,099, previously $1,299
The Schwinn 470 elliptical offers a unique elliptical workout experience. With a 20-inch stride, it uses foot motion technology to better simulate a natural running motion than most other ellipticals. It can be adjusted to 25 resistance levels and has an incline setting of up to 10 degrees. You can challenge yourself at these settings with any of the 200+ virtual courses included in the “Explore the World” subscription that you can add to your machine, or the 29 workout programs that are included with the machine.
NordicTrack RW900 Smart Rower — $1,169, was $1,599
The NordicTrack RW900 Smart Rower brings rowing indoors. No matter the weather (or even if you’re near a lake), you can still get in a healthy rowing workout. With 26 resistance levels, you can practice basic body movements or get a full resistance workout. At the foot of the NordicTrack RW900 is a 22″ HD screen that guides you through your iFIT training classes. This model comes with a 30-day trial of iFIT. freeYour trainer will automatically take over, setting resistance levels and guiding you through your workout.
NordicTrack Fusion CST — $1,200 (previously $2,000)
The NordicTrack Fusion CST offers many different ways to train with one device. This is thanks to the six cables, two at high, two at shoulder height and two at low. The low cable attaches to your ankle to train your legs and build strength. It’s a fairly complex device, but you get 30 days of free iFIT training to get a good understanding of how to best use the device for your needs. You can view your trainer on the included 10″ Smart HD Portal 10i tablet, which allows you to track your iFIT trainer and see your stats all in one convenient place.
Great deals on gym equipment, apparel and fitness tech
A fitness tracker is a great way to start your health journey. Fitness trackers often sync with your smartphone using a health app to track your steps, distance traveled for activities like running, cycling or swimming, calories burned, and more. Fitness trackers are usually waterproof, dustproof and generally durable, so you can wear them wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.
Resistance bands are a great tool to get in shape wherever you are. They are lightweight and usually come with a carry bag for easy transport. On the other hand, there are total home gyms that allow you to bring all your favorite machines into the comfort of your own home. Total home gyms are expensive, but convenient and can save you money in the long run when compared to gym fees. You can take advantage of the deals on ellipticals and treadmills to mix and match expensive fitness equipment.
If you don’t want to buy too much equipment, yoga is a great way to get in shape and connect with your mind. Yoga doesn’t require much, as all you need is a decent yoga mat. We’ve listed some great yoga mat deals here, but there are hundreds of mats to choose from in a variety of colors and sizes.
If you want to go the more old-fashioned route, dumbbells are a staple piece of fitness equipment. Buying dumbbells of different weights can be costly and take up a lot of space in your home gym. Luckily, an adjustable dumbbell set can help you eliminate space issues and save money. Adjustable dumbbells come in a variety of designs that allow you to quickly increase or decrease weight. You can easily add or remove weight plates to suit each muscle group and the number of repetitions or sets.
