FARMINGTON — Amanda Berube, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has joined the medical staff at Franklin Health Primary Care, one of five primary care practices in the Franklin Community Health Network (FCHN).
Berube most recently worked as a float pool nurse (RN) at the Veterans Administration in Togas, caring for acutely and critically ill patients.
Berube earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, and then earned her master’s in family nurse studies from Walden University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Maine Nurses Association and the International Nursing Honor Society.
“As a primary care provider, I’m often the first point of contact for patients when it comes to maintaining their health, preventing illness and managing disease,” Berube says. “My role is to educate patients using evidence-based practices and provide them with the knowledge they need to support their health journey.”
Berube joins a team of providers: Deborah Burchfield, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Lisa Clarcq, DO, Kristy Hilton, APRN, FNP-C, David Huish, PA-C, and Christopher Jastram, DO; Deborah Hamilton, MD, provided assistance with clinical staffing.
