I already knew about it, but I was really looking forward to it. The Return of Alan Wake After a little over a decade, the DLC comes as a complement to Remedy’s incredible comeback in the franchise. It may have been a GOTY darling in 2023, but the DLC is likely to put it back in the headlines. Summer Game Fest 2024 was the venue for the studio to show off what was already a known name, but now it finally has a release date and price. Night Springs (DLC 1) It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, June 8th. Price is yet to be determined.. meanwhile, Lake House (DLC2) The release date has not yet been decided.
Knight Springs is based on the entertaining show of the same name that Bright Falls has seen on all kinds of television, and it consists of several standalone episodes in which we meet many of the characters of the Alan Wake universe for the first time.
The lack of second DLC information may be a bit of a news omission, but it’s balanced out by the announcement of the physical standard and collector’s editions.
For now, it’s the return of Max Payne.
Now that Alan Wake 2 is over (and we know it’s not the end of the series, but its creators are asking for time to think about how to continue), Remedy’s plans are to immediately begin work on remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2The company is working to revive the king of action and awesomeness with a renewed budget of Alan Wake 2This means we’re facing another titanic production, but who knows if it will portend a hypothetical Max Payne 4. Either way, good times are ahead for lovers of storytelling and bullet time.
