One of the coolest surprises from today’s Summer Game Fest showcase was the announcement that Alan Wake 2’s first DLC, Night Springs, will not only be releasing featuring three fantastic playable characters; tomorrowHowever, two physical editions of the game are now available for pre-order and will be released later this year.
Fans have been waiting for a physical version of the game since it launched last year, and now it’s finally happening. What’s even better is that not only will there be a physical “Deluxe” version of the game available, but a flashy Collector’s Edition as well – although it’s going to be pretty pricey for Australian fans to get their hands on.
For now, it looks like these will be exclusive to the console versions of the game, and since it’s unclear when the second expansion pack, “The Lake House,” will be released, it’s unclear whether the DLC will make it onto the disc.
Here’s what’s included in each version, along with pricing and release dates:
Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition
The physical deluxe edition includes the base game as well as the Expansion Pass and other bonuses. It will cost $79.99 and will be available on October 22nd. Here’s what’s included:

The Alan Wake 2 Physical Limited Collector’s Edition, produced by Limited Run, includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus a super cool and functional Angel Lamp replica, an artbook, and other fun items. It will be priced at $199.99 and will be released “shortly after” the Deluxe Edition. Here’s the synopsis:
